Queues on A45 near Rushden Lakes due to police incident
Drivers faced delays on the A45 near Rushden Lakes while officers dealt with an incident.
They were called just after 2pm today (Tuesday) to reports of an incident on the westbound carriageway of the A45 and closed a section of the road while the situation was resolved.
The AA posted a message online about the incident, which said: “Road closed and queueing traffic due to police incident on A45 Northampton Road both ways between J16 A5001 and A5001 Crown Way (Skew Bridge).
“Not too far from Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre.”
A spokesman for Northants Police said the incident was resolved by about 3pm.
