Nearly 50 apprentices from 35 local companies attended a presentation event organised by apprenticeship provider Starting Off. They were given certificates marking their hard work by Corby MP Andy Sawford.
He gave a short talk about his work at the House of Commons and the importance of apprenticeships in both the local and national economy. Each apprentice was then given a certificate by Mr Sawford. Over the last year they have been working in either accounts, business administration, customer service, sales or IT positions and have now completed their qualifications.
Local companies represented included Maxim Logistics, Nimlok/Marler Hayley, Haines Watts, Richard Sanders and Knights of Old.
