A rural pub has shut down, but the owners say the closure is only temporary.
The Royal George in Blind Lane, Cottingham, has closed just a few months after new landlords took over. They decided not to take on the lease.
However, owners Punch Taverns have pledged to ensure the pub reopens and has started to recruit for a new licensee. They are also considering possible investment in the premises.
Meanwhile, in Brigstock the lease for the Olde Three Cocks pub is for sale and in Corby the Domino and Lincoln pubs are still on the market.
In Wellingborough the Fox and Hounds freehold is for sale and in Geddington, the freehold for The Star Inn which overlooks the Eleanor Cross, is on the market.
A ten year lease for The Crows Nest in Irthlingborough is also on offer.
