The Princess Royal paid a flying visit to Corby on Monday (May 12) to officially open a depot in the town.
Bibby Distribution’s royal guest unveiled a plaque at its warehouse and logistics depot in Bangrave Road.
Before the official opening she was given a tour of the premises when she chatted to staff and met members of the senior management team.
The Princess Royal visited the company in her capacity as patron of the charity Transaid.
Bibby Distribution is a core donor and key supporter of the organisation which provides local transport solutions to improve access to basic services and economic opportunities for people in Africa and other developing countries.
Among the guests at the official opening was Corby mayor, Cllr Judy Caine.
