There will be a debate on Britain’s membership of the European Union tonight (Wednesday, October 2).
It is the first of many debates that will take place over the next few months in the lead-up to the European election next year and has been organised by Wellingborough Labour Party and the Independent Socialists.
The debate will take place at 7pm in the Victoria Centre, Palk Road, Wellingborough, and will be independently chaired by BBC Radio Northampton journalist Martin Heath.
The participants in the debate will be: Linda Wooding, of the Labour Party, Allan Shipman, UKIP, and George Smith, Liberal Democrats. The Conservative and Green Parties have also been invited to take part.
Everyone is welcome to attend the debate and take part in the discussion.
