Police worry over missing man in Wellingborough

Police in Wellingborough are appealing for a missing man to come forward.

Gordon Beedy, 66, of Titchmarsh, went missing from Wellingborough town centre at lunchtime today, Thursday, August, 16.

A police spokesman said: “Mr Beedy is a vulnerable adult and officers are extremely concerned about his welfare.

“He was last seen in Morrisons in the town centre at 1.45pm.”

Officers described him as a white man, of slim build, 5ft6” tall, balding and was wearing a dark blue baseball cap.

He was also wearing a grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and slip on navy shoes.

He has a key on a chain around his neck and wears a dark blue ring on one of his fingers.

They said he is not carrying anything and may be in a confused state, and would like to speak to anyone who may know the whereabouts of Mr Beedy, or who may have seen him in the last few hours.

If anyone knows the whereabouts of Mr Beedy, then they should contact the police on 999.
