Police warning after roof tiles thrown from roof of Rothwell school

Police in Rothwell are appealing for witnesses after tiles were hurled from a school roof.

There have been two incidents since Friday, April 11, when offenders climbed on to the roof and removed the tiles.

They then threw them onto the ground at Rothwell Junior School in Gladstone Street.

Police would like to appeal to anyone who may have witnessed either of these incidents.

They would also like to remind people of the dangers of climbing on to a roof.

Witnesses or anyone with information about these incidents is asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
