Police seek owner of dog which bit youngster

Police are appealing to speak to the owner of a dog after a dog bite incident occurred on Monday, October 29, at 3pm in the Oaks Drive area of Higham Ferrers.

An eight-year-old girl was playing with friends when she stroked a dog, which was with its owner on a lead. The dog then bit her.

The dog is described as a small black dog with white paws, chest and nose, and is believed to be named Pippa.

The owner of the dog is described as a white woman, approximately 5ft 6ins tall, of a slim build. She was described as wearing a blue rain coat and black boots.
