A search has been launched to find a Kettering man who went missing from the Welsh hotel he was staying in.

Police in Llanelli are continuing to search for missing Richard Thomas Chandler, 25, from Kettering.

He has been working on a roofing contract in the Trostre area and been in the Llanelli area for the past three weeks.

But he has not been seen since 11pm on Thursday, July 3.

He has been staying in the Miramar hotel in Station Road Llanelli on weekdays, and then travelling home to Kettering at the weekend.

He was last seen by his colleagues at approximately 11pm on Thursday, and was also seen walking along New Dock Road in the direction of Machynys just before midnight.

Police say no-one has seen or heard from him since and this is out of character for him.

Richard is 5ft 8in, of stocky build, has auburn/dark hair, and he was wearing a grey Adidas hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms with red “V” on the back pockets and black and light blue trainers.

If anyone has any information about Richard’s whereabouts, or any information that could help find him please contact police in Llanelli as a matter of urgency by calling 101.
