Police hunt female group of attackers

POLICE want to speak to these women in connection with an assault on three other women outside a pub.

The three victims were standing outside the Rose and Crown pub in Rushden High Street when they were approached by four women from the other side of the road.

One of them pushed one of the group of three women and then grabbed the hair of another and pulled her to the floor. The woman was then repeatedly kicked by three of the attackers and was dragged along by her hair.

Another of the women was grabbed by the hair and punched. The attackers then walked off in the direction of The Feathers pub.

The incident happened just after midnight on Saturday, February 4.

One of the attackers is described as 5ft 6ins tall and aged between 17 and 18, of slim build with straight, blonde hair. She was wearing a silver leopard print dress and grey platform shoes.

Another was around the same age, 5ft 1ins tall, of medium build and with straight dark brown hair, parted in the middle and longer than her shoulders in length.

Witnesses or anyone with information can call police on 101.
