Police appeal after woman pushed to the ground in attack

Police want to speak to witnesses to an assault in Kettering last week.

A 20-year-old woman was walking along Holdenby, Kettering, near the Park House pub, when a man ran up behind her, pushed her and caused a graze to her neck. He then ran off and got into a black car.

The incident occurred at about 11.30pm on Tuesday, July 23.

The offender is described as a middle-aged, 6ft black man of medium build, wearing a black hooded top with the hood up and blue jeans.

Witnesses to this incident, or anyone with information, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101. Alternatively, information can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
