As he got closer to the car a woman he didn’t recognise got out and asked him if he’d like a lift home.

He said no and ran off, and the car drove quickly away in the direction of Kettering Town centre.

The woman is described as having blonde hair.

She was wearing a black coat pulled up over her head - possibly because it was raining - and baggy black trousers.

Witnesses, or anyone with information, are asked to call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
