An application to convert a former Desborough Co-operative Society bank into two new businesses has been submitted.
Initial permission is being sought by developers to convert the property for a variety of possible uses, including as a shop, cafe, offices, a launderette and a travel agent. Developers could then use the site for any of those purposes.
The proposals would also see the first floor of the red-brick premises in Station Road converted into a flat.
Kettering Council received the application last week, with a target decision date set for the end of next month.
The former bank is situated next door to a new community coffee shop, which moved into another previously boarded-up building.
