Dozens of hardy souls braved the mud to take part in an extreme obstacle course race at the weekend.
The Suffering is a regular event at Rockingham Castle, and sees determined competitors battle through freezing pools of water, across rope nets and over wooden barricades, covering distances ranging from 5km to 10 miles.
Players from Corby Rugby Club acted as the final obstacle, proving themselves to be a formidable barrier.
Those taking part included Paul Dickson from Corby, and teams from the Corby TA centre, Maplefields Circle of Friends team from Corby and the Dynamic Divas from Corby.
The next Suffering event at Rockingham is in June.
