A pet photographer is holding a special ‘pawtrait’ event at Irchester Country Park to raise money for Animals In Need.

Josie Baughan is the owner of Jelly Bean Photography and will be hosting Pawtraits in the Park, a dog photography experience, on July 10 to raise awareness and funds for the charity based at Pine Tree Farm in Little Irchester.

The event will be held alongside the charity’s popular pack walk, Strut Your Mutt, organised by dog behaviourist Nathan Watson.

Annie Marriott, co-founder of Animals In Need, said: “We are currently at full capacity with 55 dogs in our care as well as a host of other animals.

“Fundraising events like this are vital to the running of the sanctuary and ensure we can continue to care for these animals until they find their forever homes.”

Pawtraits in the Park will run from 10am until 3pm and no booking is required.

For £10 per dog, owners will receive a 7in x 5in print, as well as a digital copy of their photo.

All proceeds will be donated to Animals In Need.

Josie said: “Pawtraits in the Park is an amazing way to raise money for the shelter as well as providing dog owners with a gorgeous ‘pawtrait’ of their own furry friend.

“Our last event raised over £450 so we’re excited to see if we can beat that this time round.”
