Photographic club searches for models

A Rushden photographic club is searching for new models to snap in their portrait sessions.

The Rushden and District Photographic Society are urging people to get in contact with them and have a bit of fun, as a model.

Davina Williams, practical group organiser at the society, said: “We are looking for people to come forward and become a model for our practical classes.

“It is a bit of fun and it doesn’t matter what you look like. You don’t have to look like a catwalk model, as we want to photograph real people.

“We won’t be able to pay the models but they will have a fun time and will be able to go away with a collection of the photographs that we take.”

Mrs Williams added that the group are looking for models aged over 18. They are also looking for sports clubs or groups, such as boxers, or dancing clubs, to come forward.

The photograph above is a portrait taken by a member of the club of some models.

The club meets every Tuesday at Irchester Village Hall, and the Practical Group meets twice a month on a Thursday evening.
