Tony Blackburn’s ‘Sounds of the 60s’ live tour will play two shows in Northants

The legendary DJ will host the BBC Radio 2 show at The Royal & Derngate and The Castle Theatre.

A show dedicated to the golden decade of pop is coming to Northamptonshire.

Tony Blackburn will host BBC Radio 2’s show featuring songs, stories and memories from the 60s.

Live music on the tour will be performed by the Sounds of the 60s All Star band and singers.

Tony Blackburn will host the show.

The tour will visit 23 towns and cities across the UK in 2020, including Northampton and Wellingborough.

Tony Blackburn and the band will visit The Royal & Derngate in Northampton on Sunday March 1.

The tour will then visit The Castle Theatre in Wellingborough on Saturday April 18.

The BBC Radio 2 team has been out on tour since the beginning of the year after the success of last year.
