Sky Cabs has sponsored Corby Rise, a group of local people that provide food, clothing and practical help to homeless people.

Sky Cabs Director Nic Condon said: “Sky Cabs is proud to be sponsoring Corby RISE, they are a great cause, ensuring that the homeless community have access to resources they need within the area. Corby RISE has shown such dedication and hard work to ensure this happens.

“We have an ongoing partnership with Corby RISE to ensure that we can help them with fundraising and that their hard work can continue.

“Our Drivers and Staff have come together to ensure that Corby RISE can deliver Christmas dinner to the community, and highlight the important work Ashlee, Stacey and the team have been delivering”

The group has organised a Christmas lunch that will be served-up at the town’s urgent care centre, which remains open to the public during the festive period.

Unfortunately, a charity-run homeless shelter in Dorking Walk has failed to open in time for Christmas because not enough volunteers were found.

So the services of Corby Rise are more vital than ever.
