Corby Council's Shape dance lessons are going online during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Live classes for existing members will take place every week on Zoom until social distancing measures are eased.

Anybody whose child is missing their weekly dance fix should e-mail [email protected] with their child’s name, the class they are in, and the date and time of the Zoom class they would like to take part in.

Sessions are limited to 35 people and allocated weekly on a first come, first serve basis.

Corby Council’s lead member for community, Cllr John McGhee, said: “We recognise how much our Shape dancers love dance and our dedicated instructors were disappointed to have to press pause on classes.

"In such uncertain times it’s important to keep active and to try to make things as normal as possible for youngsters.
