The Kettering Biker Escorts (KBE) made their way from KH Motorcycles in Market Harborough to KGH's Skylark children's ward, via Desborough, Rothwell, the A14 and the Telford Way Industrial Estate on their annual trip.

In total 51 bikes and a van took part after a massive response from the public to donate to children who have to spend Christmas in hospital.

Anthony Gardner, a founding member of KBE, said their Christmas toy run was the event they looked forward to the most.

He said: "The whole team on Skylark Ward are absolutely amazing. You could not meet nicer people, especially the play team who help us with our planning and then take the major task to wrap the gifts and give them to the appropriate children.

"When we do our run to KGH the amount of people that are standing in the street braving the cold weather just to see us riding past dressed in our festive attire is amazing.

"Everyone here at KBE would like to thank each and everyone of you for your continued support. Merry Christmas and have a fantastic new year."
