Rushden road closed for water mains repairs

Anglian Water workers have been digging up a section of Rectory Road and will re-instate it over the next 24 hours.

A spokesman said: "We are hoping to have the traffic lights removed by the weekend and apologise for any inconvenience this has caused.”

A signed diversion is in place.

The closure has meant a route change for the 107 bus which transports some pupils from Bishop Stopford School in Kettering.

There are no changes to the morning collections but there slight changes which will take place on the journey home until December 10.

The Finedon drop-off will remain the same and the bus will then drop off in Rushden at Orbit Tyres and Hayway. Students may be dropped off a few minutes earlier than normal.

The bus will then drop off in Higham Ferrers. Students may be dropped off a few minutes later than normal.
