Members of the public can visit the reservoir and use the car park, as long as social distancing measures are implemented and respect is shown to the environment.

A statement on the Anglian Water website says: “We’re pleased to confirm our parks will be reopening from June 2.

“However, there are a number of changes on site with some facilities still closed to ensure we can continue to meet the government guidance.

“As well as following the Government guidance on social distancing when outdoors, we are also asking everyone to be respectful of the areas around our parks, to help protect the most vulnerable in those communities.

“Please only park in the Anglian Water car parks provided, not in local villages, and please take your litter home with you or use the bins provided. Thank you for your support.”
