A Northamptonshire insurance brokers' has donated £1,875 to charities and causes close to their hearts through a philanthropic employee grants scheme.

Farmers and Mercantile Insurance Brokers’ (FMIB) gave its employees the opportunity to nominate a charity of their choice to receive a £125 donation through MyGiving, generating £25,000 for 140 different organisations.

Fifteen donations were made by the team based outside Sywell for Warwickshire & Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, The National Animal Welfare Trust, Mind, Macmillan Cancer Support, Willen Hospice, Marie Curie, Bowel Cancer UK, Northampton Hope Centre, Hospital at Home and the Matt Hampson Foundation.
