Lucky seven for Corby neighbours after postcode lottery win

Seven people in Corby are £1,000 better off after scooping a prize in the People's Postcode Lottery.

The lucky Welland Vale Road neighbours are celebrating after NN17 2AN was announced as the daily prize winner on Monday (June 15).

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt said: “I’m so happy for our winners, what a start to the week.

"I hope they go and treat themselves with their winnings.”

The Corby winners are the latest in the north of the county to net a windfall after a string of winners with an NN postcode.

In March five people in Newbury Close in Rushden each won £1,000, followed by two people in Corby's Elizabeth Street two weeks later.

Last month five neighbours in Weldon's Church View also bagged £1,000.

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales from the lottery goes directly to charities and players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised more than £500m to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.
