Great Oakley neighbours get grand surprise with lucky postcode win

A pair of Great Oakley neighbours have been celebrating over the weekend after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Field Cottages neighbours netted the windfall when NN18 8HL was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery on Saturday (July 11).

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners.

She said: “What a great surprise to get on your weekend. Congratulations to our winners, I hope they enjoy their winnings.”

The windfall came the same weekend as one Kettering householder became £30,000 richer winning the #30kaday prize in the People's Postcode Lottery.

Due to lockdown restrictions the draws are being announced virtually.
