Some of the county's finest food and drink will be on display when a festival returns to Kettering.
Northamptonshire’s Good Food and Drink Festival will be back at Kettering Park Hotel & Spa on Sunday, June 14.
It was held for the first time last year with 800 foodies attending to see what the 40 exhibitors had to offer.
The fun-filled family day, which also includes a wide range of entertainment, is free to attend and gives food and drink lovers a chance to sample and purchase produce made in Northamptonshire and the surrounding area and relax in the hotel's gardens.
Kerry Bate from Polka Dot Events, the festival's event organiser, said: "Building on the success of last year’s event, visitors and exhibitors can expect another amazing event to bring lovers of food together within the area,.
"We are really excited to be working on this event again."
Present on the day last year were the Daniel Thwaites shire horses who welcomed the visiting public, and they will be returning this year .
There will be several local producers including makers of chutneys and preserves, bread producers and a local brewery. The event will include gluten free, dairy free and vegan suppliers.
The festival, sponsored by Wilson Browne Solicitors, was the vision of the hotel’s general manager Andrew Hollett.
He said: “I have always wanted to hold a food and drink festival at Kettering Park since becoming involved in the food and drink scene through my own passion for all things local and Northamptonshire especially.
"The quality and variety of producers is amazing, and many items are used on our menus."
