Corby pubs reopen doors after months of lockdown - PICTURE SPECIAL

Pubs across Corby opened to customers for the first time after more than 100 days

Pubs doors in Corby were reopened to customers today (Saturday, July 4) with eager punters returning to their locals for a pint.

Friends Siobhan Johnson, Sinead Rebhan, Ami Chambers and Sarah Forster had booked a table at The Phoenix.

Sinead said: "This is our local and we really missed it. We come here every week and play bingo on Thursdays."

The Parsons-Lomas family had returned to their local and were happy to see landlady Nancie.

Shona Lomas said: "We were excited to be back, this is our family pub. We've missed Nancie.This is the best pub in Corby."

In the Corby Candle regular Rachael Walker was enjoying being back at in her favourite pub with drinking companion William Gillan.

She said: "We've missed being here. It's definitely the best pub in Corby."
