Grow Festival 2020, which will take place in February next year, sees Made in Corby, The Core at Corby Cube and ArtReach join forces to produce the outdoor art event.

Starting on Friday, February 7, the festival continues on the Saturday, February 8, when the people’s stage will be held and local residents will perform in a prominent town centre location.

Marian Anderson from Made in Corby said: "In keeping with the theme of the festival, we would encourage groups/individuals applying to use ideas of light, space or ‘out of this world’ in their performances.

"We are looking for anyone from established choir groups, local bands and dance troupes to up-and-coming young singer-songwriters to volunteer to showcase their talent.

"Grow 2020 is inspired by the theme of light and Corby’s town centre, The Core at Corby Cube and other indoor locations will this year be illuminated with extraordinary performances, magical installations and spectacular art throughout the festival."

Next year's festival is the third in the series of Grow Festival's series of outdoor events, commissioned by Made in Corby, as part of The Creative People and Places programme funded by Arts Council England through the National Lottery, and co-produced with The Core at Corby Cube.
