Pre-sale tickets for Not Again, Alan! go on sale tomorrow (Tuesday) for the comedian's two-night gig at the Royal & Derngate in November.

Alan Carr - known for his hugely successful Chatty Man show on Channel 4 - is the son of former Northampton Town boss Graham Carr and, of course, grew up in Northampton and still visits his family in Overstone.

The one-man-show will be his first stand-up performance in four years and his fourth solo UK tour, following the Tooth Fairy, Yap Yap Yap, and Spexy Beast.

The description of the tour says: 'It's been four years since Alan last went on tour, and in that time he's managed to find himself in all sorts of dramas. Between his star-studded wedding day and becoming an accidental anarchist, from fearing for his life at border control to becoming a reluctant farmer, three words spring to mind... Not again, Alan!'

So far 57 dates have been announced for the tour, starting in Dunfermline on September 5, and finishing at the Barbican in York on December 19, with the comedian confirming there will be more dates likely to be released in 2021.

Alan will be gigging at Northampton's Royal & Derngate on Tuesday, November 17 and Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

In April 2018, Alan and his Cobblers legend dad, Graham Carr, took charge of one of the teams at a celebrity football match when they went head-to-head with Katie Price and Shayne Ward in the opposite dugout to raise money for Niamh's Next Step.
