In the last few years Kettering has lost big-name High Street brands like Marks and Spencer, Topshop, and Burton.'
There have been multiple empty buildings in the town centre.
However, things aren't all doom and gloom as Kettering has also seen a number of independent local businesses thrive in the town centre.
Here are some of the spaces up to rent or buy in town. Fingers crossed they get taken on soon! What would you like to see in Kettering?

The old Naseby Hotel in Sheep Street closed a few years ago and is up for sale for a whopping 1.75m. It comes with planning for 29 apartments and the car park. The restaurant below is up for let, but the rental price is only available on application.
2. Former New Look shop, Gold Street
New Look left Kettering last year and the shop in Gold Street has been empty ever since. Photos show just how big the store is, so it definitely has a lot of potential! The rent is 3,333 per month and the listing says the landlord might consider splitting the shop in to two units.
3. Retail property, Sheep Street
The building currently rented by Mary&Me is up for sale for 200,000. Mary&Me customers, don't fret! The business won't be affected by the sale and has a lease agreed until August 2021.
