OUNDLE Music Trust has announced the launch of its 2012 programme which promises an exciting week of diverse music and arts offerings set around a storytelling theme.
From July 13 to 22, the town of Oundle will come alive with Telling Tales – stories from around the world in, through and with music. In a break with a tradition, the opening concert of the festival will feature jazz ensemble The Darius Brubeck Quartet. The internationally-renowned musician is the son of Dave Brubeck and he will be playing some of his father’s classics such as Take Five as well as his own South African-inspired compositions.
Tickets go on sale to the general public from Saturday, April 21, via www.oundlefestival.org.uk or by calling the box office on 01832 274734.
