“We’re truly proud of our service men and women, and Milifest will be a unique celebration for everyone in, and connected with, the Armed Forces.

“I wanted to bring something really fresh and new to the festival scene, and I think we’ve done just that. It will be a true summer festival experience and military celebration, packed full of music, entertainment, adventure and hi-octane sport.

“Most of all Milifest is about having the best weekend of your summer. There’s so much to do: watch, dance, play, compete – how much you get involved is up to you. Come and camp for the weekend, or just come for a day. We don’t believe in hype or inflated prices, and the range of low cost ticket options reflect that philosophy. What we do believe in is good fun, good causes, good times.”

The event includes top-level rugby sevens, boxing and zorb football, archery and clay pigeon shooting – plus survival camps, a ‘mud run’ assault course and charity walks – adding to the packed program of music across three stages. Activities will combine to make the ultimate sporting challenge – the Milifest Cup, awarded to the Service (Army, Navy, RAF) that wins the most points at the end of the festival.

The event runs from August 6 to 10.
