Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue crews are on the scene at a serious fire in Nassington, a small village north of Oundle.

In a Tweet at around 5.20pm, Northants Fire said a cordon was in place because acetylene cylinders are involved in the blaze.

Acetylene is a flammable gas used for welding and cutting.

Northants Fire said residents should keep doors and windows closed and the area should be avoided if possible.
