POLICE still do not know why a hoax bomb was planted outside a house in Rothwell last month.
Bomb disposal experts were called to carry out a controlled explosion of the device found in Cecil Street on Sunday, March 11.
It contained a number of multi-coloured wires connected to a battery, but was fake.
But despite appealing for information at the time, police are no clearer about where it came from and why it was planted.
A spokesman said the force was still seeking help from the public about the incident.
Anyone who can help should call police on 03000 111222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
