A new website has been launched today (October 25) to provide information and advice to help householders cut their energy bills.
Northants Warm Homes, a partnership between all the Northamptonshire councils, has launched the website this week to coincide with Big Energy Saving Week.
Running from October 22 to October 27, the national campaign, run by the Energy Saving Trust and Citizens Advice Bureau, aims to help people cut their fuel bills and get all the financial support they are entitled to.
Pippa Reeve, project officer for Northants Warm Homes, said: “Several energy companies have already announced price rises and with the winter fast approaching now is the time for residents to seek advice on how they can lower their fuel bills.
“The new website shows people how they can save energy and generate their own energy from renewable sources and I would recommend that householders across Northamptonshire have a look and see what help they can get.”
