New warehouse plan for outskirts of Kettering
A new 156,000sq ft warehouse will be built on the outskirts of Kettering.

Prologis has announced that it will develop a distribution centre at Prologis Park in Hipwell Road, just off the A43 and minutes from the A14.
The centre would be built speculatively, meaning it will be built without a client ready to move in beforehand.
Designed to achieve a minimum BREEAM ‘very good’ accreditation and the best possible EPC rating for its size, the building will include a rooftop solar installation which will generate 10 per cent of the building’s regulated energy.
Completion is expected in the summer of 2017.

Andrew Griffiths, managing director at Prologis UK, said: “This distribution centre is the next step in our measured approach to speculative development.
“Our customers trust us to deliver the buildings they need, so it is important we anticipate their requirements and ensure we have modern, high-quality facilities in prime locations.”
The site already hosts companies such as Specsavers, Argos, Great Bear and Oxford University Press.
Burbage Realty and Budworth Hardcastle are acting for Prologis.
