The site will be Andrews’ third - with other trade counters in Peterborough and Huntingdon.

The family-run firm was established in 1989.

A planning application submitted to Corby Borough Council says: “The trade warehouse and storage will be on the ground floor with some storage space provided on first floor, while the offices will be located on the first floor. The economic basis of the site will be the warehousing role with the trade desk ancillary to the warehouse.

“Two additional buildings have been designed at the back of the site, one comprising of four units and the other comprising of one unit. These 5 units are single storey with the area divided between warehousing storage, office and ancillary facilities.”

There will also be car parks at the front and rear of the building.
