Organisers of Gretton Music Festival have announced a new sponsor for the event.
Seatons Solicitors, which has branches in Corby and Kettering, is to sponsor the event which will take place during four days in August.
Partner Paul Seaton said: “We are proud to be the exclusive sponsors of the Gretton Music Festival 2013 and pleased to see how much this event has grown since its inception in 2010.”
Terry Forsey, chairman of the festival, said: “Seatons is a great choice for our festival sponsors. Their local presence in Corby and Kettering reinforces the local nature of our festival. We draw the majority of our acts and performers from the same community. Last year saw the most varied community-based festival in the whole of Northamptonshire with record attendances. This year we plan to build on that with Seatons’ support.”
The festival schedule will be available in May and will feature music for every taste.
Events will take place at The Blue Bell Inn, The Hatton Arms, The Talbot Inn, and the sports and social club, all in Gretton, as well as the village hall and Lydia’s cafe.
This year there will be a new event, The Music Trail, allowing visitors to spend an afternoon roaming around Gretton broadening their musical horizons.
A series of special mini-events are also planned, to be hosted by local music enthusiasts, ranging from a wind-up gramophone demonstration to a roots reggae session.
