A new scheme has started in Corby for the town’s young rugby players.

ScrumKids, based at Corby Business Academy, offers rugby-based sports sessions for children aged two to seven.

More than 40 children turned up to take part in a free trial session on Sunday, September 29, and warmed up with qualified coach Brad Cox and his assistant coach Charlie Hurley.

After the fun warm-up, girls and boys took part in a variety of activities and games designed to help improve their agility and fitness.

ScrumKids also operates in Daventry, Coventry, Rugby and Kenilworth and since it was launched at the beginning of the year the small business has recruited around 300 keen future rugby players.

To book a free trial email Sessions cost £5 per week.
