Customers will be able to try out a new cafe bar when it opens its doors today (Wednesday).
Loungers is opening Castello Lounge in the former McDonald’s site in Market Street, Wellingborough.
The company has spent £625,000 transforming the former fast-food restaurant into a ‘retro home-from-home’ with dramatic artwork, oversized vintage sofas and statement light fittings.
It has created 25 jobs for the area and bosses say it will cater for all tastes throughout the day.
The menu features various hot and cold drinks as well as tapas dishes, burgers, classics like beef chilli and mac and cheese and items from the specials board.
There is also a children’s menu.
For more information about the chain, which has venues across the country including Kino Lounge in Kettering, go to www.thelounges.co.uk.
And if you are going along to Castello Lounge today or later this week, we’d love to know what you think about the new cafe bar.
