A mum from Kettering says she was pleasantly surprised after testing the quality and origins of a fast-food chain’s French fries.
Sarah Delaney was invited to take part in the test of McDonald’s chips last month, spending a day observing the process from potato harvesting to them being served.
Sarah, who runs her own catering company, said the process had helped to reassure her about the quality of the chain’s chips.
She said: “I really enjoyed it. I wasn’t sure what to expect but it was incredibly informative.
“McDonald’s was always a necessary evil until now – on the way home from airports, things like that.
“I had seen some of the negatives but I definitely feel much better about taking my children there.”
