Corby MP Andy Sawford is asking residents for their input into a key speech about fire services in the town.
In what he is describing as a unique ‘crowd sourcing’ approach, Mr Sawford has asked local constituents to write a speech he will deliver in Parliament on Monday.
Mr Sawford has secured a special debate on Corby fire services that will take place at the end of the day’s business in the House of Commons.
More than 200 people have already taken part, including serving firefighters. Contributions can be emailed to email@example.com.
Mr Sawford said: “Corby is a growing town and it’s a crazy idea to reduce fire cover.”
