Corby MP Andy Sawford says he is concerned that a school due to open in September does not yet appear to have identified a site.
Plans for the Ashworth Preparatory School – named for Corby’s Victoria Cross recipient Lance Cpl James Ashworth – was announced by the David Ross Education Trust in 2014.
It will eventually cater for 420 pupils aged four to 11.
Mr Sawford said he was due to meet trust representatives on Friday, but this meeting had been rearranged.
He added: “I am concerned places are being advertised at a school due to open in September which currently does not have a site. I hope there is a suitable contingency plan in place because the lack of information is causing worry and speculation.”
The Telegraph contacted the trust on Monday but it has not yet responded.
