Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in collision on A45 near Rushden

A motorcyclist suffered serious head and leg injuries after drifting into a barrier on the A45 near Rushden yesterday (Monday).

A motorcyclist suffered serious head and leg injuries after drifting into a barrier on the A45 near Rushden yesterday (Monday).

The 32-year-old, who is from Higham Ferrers, was travelling eastbound shortly before 5pm when, at the slip road for the Buddies diner service area, he drifted from lane one into the slip road.

He then struck the kerb and the barrier and was airlifted to University Hospital Coventry.
