Motorcyclist badly injured in Duddington crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision on the A47 near the Duddington roundabout on Bank Holiday Monday.

The 30-year-old man was riding a blue Suzuki GSX 1300 RK4 on the eastbound carriageway when it was in collision with a white MAN articulated HGV, which was travelling in the same direction.

A police spokesman said: “The rider of the motorcycle was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious injuries.”

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, which took place at about 10.50am.
