Mother and grandmother in court today over death of Northamptonshire baby attacked by dog
Two women will appear in court in Northampton this morning in connection with the death of a six-month-old girl who was fatally attacked by an illegal dog.
Molly Mae Wotherspoon died following the attack by an American pit bull at an address in Morning Star Road, Daventry, on October 3 last year.
Her mother, Claire Riley, aged 23, of Far Cotton, Northampton, is scheduled to appear at Northampton Magistrates Court today charged with an offence under the Dangerous Dogs Act of being the owner or person in charge of a dog, dangerously out of control.
