Motorists are being warned about forthcoming closures on the A14 near Kettering in the coming weeks as part of the ongoing widening project between junctions 7 and 10.
The Highways Agency said the eastbound carriageway of the A14 between junctions 7 and 9 will be closed at nighttimes between 8pm on Monday, October 6, and 6am the following Monday, October 13.
The westbound carriageway between junctions 9 and 7 will then be closed at night between 8am on Monday, October 13 and 6am on Monday, October 20.
The closure on the eastbound carriageway is necessary for the installation of safety barriers, traffic signs and street lighting and for the topsoiling of verges, the Highways Agency said.
More overnight closures of individual lanes are to take place in late October.
