Missing prisoner has links to Northamptonshire, say police hunting for 28-year-old

A prisoner who absconded from an open prison has links to Northamptonshire, police confirmed on Monday night.

Harry Holland, aged 28, was last seen at HMP Springhill, which is an open prison, at about 12.03am, a spokesman for Thames Valley Police said.

“Holland is white, 5ft 5ins, and has grown a beard during his time in Springhill. He has links to the Wellingborough, and the Northants area,” he added.

Investigating officer, Det Sgt Jim Forrest of CID based at Aylesbury police station, said: “Members of the public are asked not to approach Holland if they see him, but to call police immediately on 101.

“If you have any other information that could lead to Holland’s whereabouts or have seen a man matching his description, please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.
