Following the successful collections over recent years, the Rotary Club of Corby Phoenix is once again supporting the Marie Curie Cancer Care Great Daffodil appeal. Rotarians and Rotary Friends have been out and about in Corby town centre with the bright yellow silk daffodils raising about £350 from the people of Corby.

The appeal is Marie Curie’s biggest fundraiser which helps Marie Curie nurses provide more free care to local people with a terminal illness, in their own home. Corby Phoenix Rotary Club president Brian Edkins said: “We’ve been involved with the Great Daffodil Appeal before and feel we are making a difference on their behalf and on behalf of those who need their help.”
