Man tries to drag away young woman in Wellingborough attack
The incident took place early on Saturday, December 17, in Windsor Road, Wellingborough.
The 18-year-old, was walking alone to the home of a friend when she was approached and grabbed by a man who attempted to drag her away.

Hide AdOfficers investigating the incident say the motive for the attack is unclear at this time, but it is being treated as serious.
The woman was extremely shaken and was left with bruising and grazes.
The attacker was white, in his 20s, about 6ft and had a strong build.
He had a distinctive shaped head with a square jawline and stubble.

Hide AdHe was wearing a white ‘bucket’ hat, maroon hoodie and blue jeans and had a dark rucksack.
DI Helen Knight said: “This type of attack is exceptionally rare, and it is not known whether or not the offender presents an on-going risk to the public.
“It is therefore vital that anyone with relevant information contacts us at the earliest possible opportunity.
“I would also encourage members of the public to remain vigilant and be alert for their own personal safety.”
